Tell Poker Privacy Policy
Chicken Nugget Dream Land LLC (“we,” “us”) publishes the Tell Poker app. This policy explains what Tell Poker does and does not do with your information. It applies to the Tell Poker iOS app.
The short version: Tell Poker has no accounts and collects no personal data of its own. Free players may choose to watch a rewarded video ad, served by Google AdMob, which can collect some data as described below. Pro subscribers never see ads and never trigger an ad request. Subscription payments are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your payment details.
Advertising
Tell Poker is free to play. Free users may choose to watch a short rewarded video ad — for example, to unlock a full coaching report or to host an extra internet game beyond the daily free one. Ads are never shown automatically or during a hand; you always tap a button that tells you an ad is coming first. Pro subscribers never see ads, and the ad SDK never makes a request on their behalf.
These ads are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google’s SDK may collect:
- Device identifiers (such as your advertising identifier, if you’ve allowed tracking)
- Ad interaction data (which ads were shown, tapped, or completed)
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
Where required (for example, in the EEA, UK, and certain US states), we ask for your consent before any of this happens, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. You can review or change that choice anytime in the app under Settings › Privacy & Ad Choices (shown to free users only). On iOS, we also ask for App Tracking Transparency before requesting a personalized ad; you can change your answer anytime in iOS Settings › Tell Poker › Tracking, or globally under iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Subscriptions
Tell Poker Pro is an auto-renewable subscription processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never receive or store your payment details — the app only stores whether you currently have an active subscription, refreshed directly from Apple’s StoreKit. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.
Information stored on your device
Tell Poker saves your app settings and gameplay data — such as your chosen options, appearance preference, coaching-report unlocks, and game statistics — locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you delete the app.
Multiplayer play
Tell Poker offers optional multiplayer. When you choose to play a multiplayer game:
- The display name you enter and your in-game actions (bets, folds, and similar) are sent to the other players in your game so the game can function.
- Nearby multiplayer uses Apple’s local networking to connect players on the same Wi-Fi network or over Bluetooth. This data travels directly between devices.
- Internet multiplayer sends these messages through a relay server we operate. The relay simply forwards messages between the players in a game room. It does not store game history, does not save your messages after they are delivered, and does not build a profile of you. As with any internet service, our hosting provider may briefly process technical connection data (such as an IP address) to route traffic; we do not use this information to identify you and do not retain it.
We do not sell or share multiplayer or gameplay data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose. This is separate from the ad SDK data described above, which Google collects directly when you choose to watch an ad.
Children’s privacy
Tell Poker is not directed to children. The app is rated 17+ because it simulates casino poker. Tell Poker uses play-money only and offers no real-money gambling and no way to spend real money. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Data security
Tell Poker does not collect or store personal data on our own servers. Internet multiplayer connections use encrypted (TLS) transport.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here.
